A screen recorder for your Mac. Record your screen, your voice and your face, then trim it, transcribe it and send it without anything leaving the machine.

annuncia Latin, “announce.” Named for the Annunciation, when Gabriel delivered a message on someone else’s behalf.

Annuncia

You record it now.

They watch it later.

Annuncia lives in the menu bar. It records your screen, voice and face, and the controls wrap around the notch. Look up.

Recording

The recorder is the notch.

While you record, the controls wrap around the notch on your MacBook: the timer on the left, pause and stop on the right, restart and discard when you hover. They never appear in the video. Pause and resume are instant.

On Macs without a notch, the same controls sit in a small capsule under the menu bar.

What the video sees

Size

Drag the bubble anywhere.

Round, mirrored, and yours to place.

The camera bubble mirrors you like a mirror would. Drag it to any corner, pick one of three sizes, or show an avatar while the camera is off. Pop out uses person segmentation so your head rises above the top of the circle.

Lives in the menu bar.

Record the full screen or a single window. Your microphone carries the voiceover, and system audio comes along if you want it. Global shortcuts start and stop, pause, cancel, and toggle the camera.

Edit Open

Stop. It’s ready to send.

The notch drops down with the recording. Copy puts the file itself on your clipboard, so you can paste it into Slack, Mail or Messages. Or copy the transcript, open the editor, or open the file.

EditLaunch plan

“So, here’s the plan for the launch. We ship the editor first.” The filler words “um” and “uh” are struck out and cut from the sentence and its waveform.

Cut the ums. Keep the point.

One click on Clean up cuts filler words like these, trims dead air and shortens long pauses across the whole recording. Split into clips and drag the handles to trim. Every cut lands on an exact frame, and each one stays a clip you can drag back.

Transcripts

Every word, transcribed on your Mac.

A speech model runs on your Mac’s GPU: Parakeet for English, Whisper for other languages. A few minutes of talk transcribes in a second or two. Click any word to jump to it, or copy the whole thing as Markdown in timestamped paragraphs.

Library

Find the moment you said it.

Every recording sits in a grid. Open one to play it beside its transcript, rename it, transcribe it on demand, or move it to the Trash. Search reads across every transcript and jumps to the second a phrase was said.
